Empathy & Alchemy began as an intensive group critique seminar at the New York City Crit Club, guided by artists Catherine Haggerty and Zahar Vaks. Recognizing the vital energy of these conversations, the founding members of Immaterial Projects extended the concept into the wider community. The resulting 17-person exhibition is a profound celebration of material experimentation and community-building.
